Khartoum — Rwanda champions Atraco last evening thrashed Uganda's KCC Fc 4-0 to make it to the semi-finals of the Cecafa-Kagame Club Championships in Khartoum.

Two Ugandan internationals Hamis Kitagenda and Johnson Bagoole punished their brothers with excellent goals, while Abedi Mulenda and Jean Shyaka netted the other two goals.

Atraco coach Sam Timbe, who has won this regional trophy with SC Villa and Uganda Police beat his counterpart George Nsimbe in the tactical approach with Alimansi Kadogo played in an unusual left full back.

It was all celebrations after the final whistle as the KCC players fell on the pitch. "Injuries to some of my player cost me," said KCC's coach Nsimbe.

Timbe on his part praised his team for the discipline and fighting spirit. "I am happy with this win because we started so badly and everyone almost wrote us off."

While KCC won all their group games before the quarter-final, Atraco only managed one win against Kartileh 5-0 and lost 6-1 to El Merreikh and 2-1 to Kenya's Mathare United.
