Kampala — TEENAGE sprinter Agnes Aneno's performance last month will challenge volleyball clubs KAVC and Nkumba, football clubs URA and SC Villa for the uganda telecom-USPA June award today.
The fast rising Tororo Rock High School S.4 candidate looks set to make a third appearance on the nomination list among sports scribes, who meet at 9.00am today at Lugogo to make their pick.
Aneno first appeared in for the award in April and lost it to boxer Jackson Asiku when she came second.
Aneno won a 200m race and came second in the 400m at the Kenya National Youth championships.
Other top contenders will be KAVC and Nkumba who won international events and soccer clubs URA and Villa, who won the Uganda Super League and the Kakungulu Cup.
