Mendefera — Farmland covering more than 1,000 hectares is being sown with select seed of wheat in Mendefera sub-zone.
Reports indicated that the practice is being applied for the third time and that the necessary advance preparations were made on time, including that of putting in place modern fertilizers for the current undertaking.
More than 25 tractors from the Southern region branch of the government-owned garage have been deployed to facilitate the task, the reports added.
