Asmara — The Eritrean Ambassador to India, Mr. Alem Tsehaye, presented his credentials to President Susilo Bambang of Indonesia as Eritrea's non-resident Ambassador to that country.
During the presentation ceremony, the Ambassador outlined the objective situation in the Homeland and the region and called on Indonesia to play due role in promoting peace in the Horn of Africa.
The Indonesian leader on his part indicated that he would his level best to enhance Eritrean-Indonesian relations. He further stated that Indonesia would strive to promote peace and progress.
During his stay in Indonesia, Ambassador Alem held discussion with the country's Foreign Affairs Minister and other government officials on bilateral relations and the existing investment prospects in Eritrea.
