Kampala — THE Police in Nakaseke district are holding five suspects in connection with the murder of a 70-year-old woman at her home on Saturday night.

Moses Kafeero, the central region Police spokesman, yesterday identified the deceased as Norah Nakejwe.

Kafeero said Nakejwe, who lived alone, was found with deep wounds on her head and neck in Kimuli village in Mpedde sub-county.

He identified the suspects as Frank Semugenyi, Patrick Serunyange, Eria Kiviri, Hannington Ddamba and Richard Kiwanuka.

According to Kafeero, all the suspects are residents of Kimuli village.

Addressing the Police weekly briefing at the Central Police Station in Kampala yesterday, Kafeero said 118 accidents were registered during the past week in the city with 47 of them being serious.

Four pedestrians died in the accidents.
