Kampala — THE year 2008 was a year of movements in the telecom sector.
The first high profile movement was Philip Besimire who quit a marketing job at MTN Uganda for a placement as the new chief commercial officer with MTN Swaziland.
Well, we have since learned that utl's Kenyan marketing manager also jumped ship to join Zain as their new marketing manager. Meanwhile, Dan Kaboyo, whom Levi Nyakundi replaced, moved to Sierra Leone as their new marketing director.
We do not yet know who is lined up to replace Nyakundi at utl but we know that Charlotte Kemigisha, the corporate affairs manager is acting in his place.
