Thousands of Muslims under the umbrella of Muslim Brothers demonstrated against the ongoing Gaza attack by the Israeli army, describing the air strikes as sign of the end of the Zionist regime. The demonstrators, who gathered at the Fagge Central Mosque, raised the Palestine flag and shouted slogans in their support, condemning Israel, US and Europe.
Weekly Trust observed that the demonstrators condemned Arab regimes for standing aloof while their people are being killed, adding that the time has come for Muslims to unite against the deliberate aggression being perpetuated by the West with impunity.
Leader of the rally, Shiekh Muhammad Turi, described the Palestinian people as courageous and called on them to continue fighting until they are freed. "The world is with you against this cowardly act by the Zionist regime, but we have proved that we are stronger than before by your continued resistance, despite six days of aerial bombardment," Shiekh Turi said.
He said the continued killing of women and children has shown that the world is full of hypocritical double standards.
He also described the event in Gaza as the "beginning of the end of the Zionist state, especially the growing ability of the resistance movement to withstand the aerial bombardment," Sheikh Turi said, adding that with the failure of Israel to deal with Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon in 2002 and in 2006, the acclaimed invincibility of Israel has not only been disproven, "it has also been shown that the illegitimate nation will soon cease to exist," he said.

It is very very unfortunate that some group of terrorist, murderers, haters of peace are hiding under Islamic religion to fight against innocent nation of Israel.
The Hamas terrorists that have fired over a thousand rockets and mortars into Israel on a daily basis for months, and should not be given a pass. Hamas still continues it’s BS play : We’ll rain explosives on you everyday, and if you retaliate, we will hide behind women and children to make the world love us. What a Crock. There should be Zero Sympathy for these hoodlums. With the exception of J. Kony, I can not think of anytime in my life that I wished people to die. Sad, isn’t it?
People that need peace, peace be on to them.people that need war,war be on to them.cos some people with there religion belive that when u kill, u go to heaven, better send them to heaven.
I thinks these Muslims ought to be demostrating against genocide being committed by their own government (Nigeria) run by Muslims. Corruption causes death on a massive scale. I wonder how many Nigerians have died because of lack of medication in the hospital? The money to buy the drugs have been stolen by government officials.
I do not understand why some Nigerians, even Africans as a whole, are not voicing their protests against genocides/acts of corruption in places like Darfur, Sudan or the Congo. Instead, SOME Muslims only want to fight the cause of the "Arab" people that could actually care less about their well-being.
You realy have Nigeria at your hearth. Is unfortunate some are in it just to brew proplems for others.
