Kickoff (Cape Town)

Ghana: Milo Goes Experimental for Tunisia

19 November 2008

Junior Agogo will start from the bench as Milovan Rajevac rings the changes for Ghana's international friendly against Tunisia at the Ohene Djan Stadium.

Already without first team regulars Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, John Mensah and Laryea Kingston, Rajevac has opted to start Ghana's top goal scorer in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers from the bench and try the striking partnership of Matthew Amoah and Prince Tagoe.

There is also a start for Dede Ayew who last played in the semifinal defeat at the 2008 Nations Cup against Cameroon and Hans Sarpei who will have another opportunity to make a case for the left back slot he lost to Harrison Afful.

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is back in the starting line up, so is Jonathan Quartey who will partner Eric Addo at the heart of the Ghana defence.

Ghana line-up: Richard Kingston, John Paintsil, Hans Sarpei, Eric Addo, Jonathan Quartey, Daniel Yeboah, Stephen Appiah, Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, Dede Ayew, Matthew Amoah, Prince Tagoe.
